Youth And Development Association Strengthens Its Team and Youth Work in Rome
Youth And Development Association (YADA), a Rome-based non-profit youth organisation, continues to strengthen its work in youth participation, intercultural dialogue, digital skills and social inclusion.

Founded by young university students and volunteers, YADA aims to create accessible learning, networking and participation opportunities for young people from different cultural, educational and social backgrounds. The association supports especially young people who have recently moved to Rome for education, work or new opportunities, helping them to build social connections, improve communication skills and become more active in community life.
YADA organises informal Italian-speaking clubs, cultural events, film screenings, educational visits, workshops and peer-support meetings. Through these activities, young people can meet people from different countries, exchange experiences, reduce prejudice and develop a stronger sense of belonging.
The organisation’s work is led by a multidisciplinary team. Resul Nacakşız, Legal Representative of YADA, supports the association’s institutional development and coordination. Yunus Emre Darıcı, Project Manager, contributes to project development, youth participation, digital communication and social inclusion activities. With his academic background in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Sapienza University of Rome, he also supports YADA’s work on digitalisation, technology and youth empowerment.
YADA is also supported by Dr. Beste Özcan, a researcher and innovation expert working in the fields of human-centred design, wearable technologies, artificial intelligence and social inclusion. Her experience contributes to the development of innovative, inclusive and research-based learning activities for young people.
In the coming period, YADA will continue to develop local and international initiatives focusing on youth mobility, non-formal education, digital literacy, sustainability, intercultural learning and European values. Through cooperation with local institutions, cultural organisations and international partners, the association aims to create more opportunities for young people to learn, connect and take an active role in shaping their communities.
